Childrens Tv Themes, Jean Michelle Jarre, Oxygene, 1970's 1980's?
Does anyone remember a Childrens Television series from around 1980 that used Jean Michelle Jarre's Oxygene as the the theme music, I remember that the programme kept showing images of Stonehenge, and the opening credits had a train going by and an old style digital alarm clock with the digits changing as if time were counting down to some dreadful end of the world disaster, it was all very dramatic, it's bugged me for years what this series was called
Question to Alf Hart, are you saying that the show was called Equinox or the theme music (or both), as JMJ's follow up to Oxygene was called Equinox. Whatever the answer I'll be very happy, thanks.
Zoolook is another JMJ album, I don't think that the link is giving the name of the show, just a list of music and the author, it may be right but I don't think so.
This was a Childrens Tv drama, because of the Stonehenge theme in the show i'm thinking there was a reference to druids too, i'm not sure which channel it was on. I'm guessing the time slot would have been around 4.30pm.
Had some suggestions so far but nothing relates to what I remember, does anyone else remember it?
The intro definately had a train going fast and i remember this old fashioned digital (maybe analog) alarm clock which the time changing
